This landscaping and playground construction course was conducted at the Aboriginal Kulunga Pre-school Centre at the request of the Kulunga Committee. The objectives were: to provide training in landscaping for young unemployed Aborigines; to develop some community enthusiasm; and to provide playground facilities for the Aboriginal children. Eight students attended the three week course, at the end of which time, some of the trainees had acquired standards high enough to gain employment in the landscaping area.
